Outside Sales Representative

 Position Summary 

Morrison Millwork Outside Sales Representative’s develop and maintain partnerships with customers to fulfill their window and door needs. Sales Representatives are integral in building long-lasting relationships and increasing company revenue.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Develop new business with existing and new clients.

  • Execute territory and sales strategies.

  • Engaged listener able to evaluate customer needs and offer innovative window and door solutions.

  • Work closely and effectively with the sales support team to get proper information for completing a timely proposal.

  • Follow up with customers to present proposals and close the deal.

  • Communicate internally between sales support, service, and operations, as well as externally with customers

  • Follow up on customer complaints and coordinate fast solutions to service needs.

  • Complete all administrative paperwork and data entry per company guidelines.

 Essential Characteristics 

  • Positive, can-do attitude regarding all essential roles and responsibilities.

  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.

  • Meticulous attention to detail; ability to follow-through/follow-up.

  • Highly developed interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Professional sales appearance, presentation, and behaviors.

  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial approach who can work independently to achieve results.

  • Decisive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to prioritize competing priorities.

 Other Position Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR at least 3-5 years of related experience preferred.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • Reliable transportation required.

  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance policy required and a clean driving record.
